- Men's Football - Syracuse Orange vs. Rutgers Scarlet Knights

NOTE: With the recent success of Rutgers football, individual tickets will be difficult to obtain. However the central NJ Alumni Club will have a limited number of tickets for Syracuse fans. Only alumni club members will receive ticket information in September. For general information

The Central NJ SU Alumni Club will continue its service to the community by helping out at Elijah's Kitchen in New Brunswick in the Fall and cleaning New Jersey beachs at the Beach Sweep in Long Branch October 18, 2008. Please contact John Duke Surre for additional information.
- New Student Send-Off
For over 18 years the alumni club has been hosting an annual New Student Send-Off for incoming students (freshman transfer and parents/guardians) from central New Jersey. At this information session students have an opportunity to meet other incoming students who will be living in the same dorm, have the same major, have similar interests, etc. It also gives parents an opportunity to ask questions about life at Syracuse, e.g., what banks are in the area, what is the best mode of transportation and the all important, when does it start snowing? A few upperclass students are on hand to answer these questions and the many other questions or concerns parents have when their children are leaving home for college.
